My name is Maja Dauser and I am currently in my eighth semester of journalism studies. My interest in journalism and political reporting developed early and was strengthened through my involvement in my school’s newspaper. During my time at university, I gained experience in research and creating media projects, especially in the online field and video production. Frequently working in large groups allowed me to get to know daily routines of a newsroom firsthand. Through collaborative projects, I developed skills in teamwork and creating content under editorial conditions.

My main focus in university was politics, where I intensified my knowledge and gained perspective on international issues. Additionally, I completed internships that expanded my practical experience in journalism. In Prague, I worked in a news room producing both daily online news and a monthly magazine, where I gained experience in fast-paced reporting as well as long-form editorial planning. In Munich, I worked at a weekly printed newspaper.
